Privacy Policy

The short version. This website has no accounts, no tracking pixels, no advertising and no analytics. Your game progress is stored by Roblox against your Roblox user ID. We never see your name, email, address or payment details.

1. Who we are

“We” are the Starlight Park team, an independent creator publishing the Starlight Park: Coaster Tycoon experience on Roblox. This policy covers this website, the experience, and our Discord community.

2. This website

The site is static pages and images. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, loads no third-party fonts, scripts or trackers, and has no login.

Like every web server, ours writes standard access logs: your IP address, the time, the page requested, the referring page and your browser's user-agent string. These exist for security and debugging — spotting attacks and broken links — and are not used to profile you, not sold, and not shared. They rotate automatically and are kept no longer than 30 days.

3. The Roblox experience

Your park is saved through Roblox's own data storage, keyed to your Roblox user ID. What we store is game state, and nothing else:

We also read your Roblox username and display name so your park can be labelled and appear on leaderboards. We do not collect your real name, email address, postal address, phone number, date of birth or payment details — Roblox never gives creators those, and we don't want them.

We do not read or store chat messages. In-game chat is Roblox's system, filtered and moderated by Roblox.

4. Purchases

All Robux purchases are processed entirely by Roblox. We receive only a confirmation that a purchase happened so we can grant the item. We never see card numbers or billing information.

5. Discord

If you join our Discord, Discord Inc. processes your data under its own privacy policy. Our bot's job is to create channels and roles; it does not have the Message Content intent enabled, which means it cannot read what you type. It sees only your user ID, your roles and the commands you deliberately run on it.

If you later verify your Roblox account with a third-party bot such as Bloxlink, that bot is its own data controller and its privacy policy applies to the link it creates.

6. Who your data is shared with

Nobody, other than the platforms required to run the game: Roblox (hosting and data storage) and Discord (the community server). We do not sell data, do not run advertising, and do not use third-party analytics. Our website and bot are hosted on our own server in Germany.

7. Children

Roblox has a large young audience and we take that seriously. We deliberately collect the minimum needed to run a save file, and nothing that could identify a child in the real world. We never ask for personal information, and neither our staff nor our bot will ever DM you asking for it — anyone who does is not us, and you should report them.

Our Discord is 13+ as Discord's Terms require. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has given us information they shouldn't have, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the UK/EU GDPR) you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your data, and to object to processing.

We'll respond to any request within 30 days.

9. Retention

Saved parks are kept while your account is active so your progress is there when you come back. Server access logs are kept up to 30 days. Ask us to delete your park and we will.

10. Security

The website is served over HTTPS. Credentials are stored on the server with restricted permissions and are never committed to source control. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the amount of data we hold deliberately small — the best protection for information is not to collect it.

11. Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes and significant updates are announced in the Discord.
